Default Tech Tip: Damn Double Spacing

I don't know if anyone else is pulling their hair out with Firefox double spacing posts after every paragraph, but I've been trying to find a solution.

The only thing I could find was that it's a compatibility issue between Firefox and vBulletin with the "WYSIWYG Editor". If I switch to the "Standard Editor" (Your User CP Option) then I can post without the annoying double-space quirk.

Alternatively, you can change your Firefox browser setting which also fixes this.
Step 1. Type: about:config
(Ignore the Void warning, you won't break it. lol)
Step 2. Do a search for the line: editor.use_div_for_default_newlines
Step 3. Double click on it to change it from True to False

Hadn't noticed. Most of my recent posts are short and don't have multiple paragraphs.
So I'll put a paragraph break in this one.

EDIT: Mine doesn't do it. Maybe I have one of those fixes done already?

When looking for the issue on-line there were a lot of similar complaints. It may be also associated to Windows 7, which is what I use.
I tried a different browser which didn't have the problem. However, I also noticed the WYSIWYG didn't work as well in other browsers. It was basically a trade off as to what I wanted more until I found this "fix".

That could make sense. I run 10 at both work and home now. Still have a fondness for 7 but the dreaded words "end of extended support" are looming.
